After dark is when Mahiki (which literally means “path to the underworld”) really comes into its own. At 11pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays the doors to the club area swing open, providing access to the fun-filled party spirit Mahiki is known for around the world. The club area will also have its own entrance on Central Street.
Guests can expect exotic dancers, great music, and, of course, Mahiki’s inimitable cocktails including its signature serve, the Treasure Chest. This epic concoction is served in a real treasure chest, and features Mahiki Rum, the finest brandy and peach liquor shaken with lime and sugar, topped with a bottle of Moët & Chandon.
Mahiki first opened in London’s Mayfair 12 years ago, and its unremitting fun-factor and open door policy has won the hearts of innumerable A-listers including Rihanna and Harry Styles, while HRH Prince Harry is also a known fan.

Now an award winning global brand with premises in London, Marbella, Sardinia and Dubai, Mahiki will bring its oasis of good vibes to Manchester after Mahiki Mayfair co-founder and entrepreneur Piers Adam joined forces with the former Manchester United defender and GG Hospitality Director Gary Neville.
Mahiki Manchester co-founder, Piers Adam, said: “Mahiki are thrilled to be expanding the Aloha spirit and bringing our synonymous Polynesian Tiki glamour to Manchester. This is a city with community at its core, and we are thrilled to be partnering with one of Manchester’s very own, Gary Neville. Together we will ensure we retain our reputation for world class cocktails and fun.”
Gary Neville, Director at GG Hospitality, said: “We are excited to bring Mahiki to Manchester, it has long been known in London and overseas for offering a unique, fun experience and now Manchester will be able to offer that too. Mahiki is a global celebrated nightspot and we know the people of Manchester will not be disappointed, it will add a new exciting vibe to the ever growing nightlife scene in the city centre.”
Zerum Consult, based in Manchester, acted as planning consultants on behalf of GG Hospitality and Mahiki, and work is currently underway at the premises.
It is not long now until Mancunians can escape to their very own Tiki paradise.
