Celebrities flocked to Neighbourhood for the launch of Manchester’s first dedicated nightlife app, Viper.

Jorgie Porter, Cheshire Housewives star Ampika Pickston and Hollyoaks actor Kieron Richardson were amongst the guests who made an appearance to ensure they were the first to download the app.

And Jorgie, who was back from Los Angeles where she now lives, reckons Viper will be a huge success not only in the North-West, but worldwide, explaining that the app needs to launch in LA as soon as possible.

Viper will be available on iPhone and Android and is designed to take everyone’s night out to the next level by letting them upgrade to VIP, queue jump and even buy drinks packages in real time.

Viper’s top priority is to ensure only the top bars in Manchester are available on the app and the likes of Be Impossible, Epernay, Be At One, Living Room, Bijou Club, Milton Club and Club Liv are some of the first to realise the impact the app will have on revellers’ night out habits.

The idea came from Manchester-based founders Craig Davies, 31, Craig Gidley, 31, and Stephen Powell, 31, who had their lightbulb moment while queuing in the rain for a bar in Spinningfields.

“We feel there is nothing coming close to what we are offering in terms of identifying the top bars and ensuring users have unrivalled access to exclusive upgrades during their night out. We’ve had a great chat with Jorgie and Kieran who were both excited by the look, feel and what the app offers its users, with Jorgie asking us to launch in LA as soon as possible! Whether you need to find the best bars, have drinks ready on arrival, find which bars have VIP booths available or simply need a queue jump, Viper will let you do this from the palm of your hand.” Craig Davies

Viper can be found at vipernights.com or by searching Viper Nights on the app store.
