Top reasons people travel glamping on a beach

From white sugar beaches to fluffy snowy mountains, there are plenty of things in the world that many people will never have a chance to see. Not many people will be able to see the giant turtle swimming at the Great Barrier Reef, or will they see new vegetation growing in the forests. Some people will never get a chance to see lions in South Africa nor will they get a chance to tour Abu Dhabi by air.

Travelling is a pleasure, and whether you are on an Andean Explorer train or you are out to sea on a cruise ship, there is always some way to travel and something to see. If it has never crossed your mind to book an adventure, we’ve got some of the reasons below that you should travel, and these are the reasons that other people choose to.

  • The adventure. Taking yourself out of your comfort zone away from your home and into the world is scary but in a good way. It’s a bold and risky experience and it can be exceptionally interesting. You’ll be able to go trekking or mountaineering, mountain riding and more. You can ski or sunbathe on beaches that you may never have had a chance to visit before. You’ll be able to learn how to break apart a coconut and use the meat and the water. Everybody loves a challenge and travelling can give you an adventure like nothing else.
  • You have time to think and reflect. It can be very difficult to get some perspective when you don’t leave your immediate environment. When you are doing the same routines of working and looking after children and going on your usual grocery shopping runs it can be very difficult to sit back and realise exactly what else is out there in the world so how you might feel about something else. Travelling gives you a time to be able to stop and take a moment for yourself. You’ll boost your creativity and you’ll engage with the local culture of a new location. You also have the chance to make friends and eat new foods that you may never have had a chance to do before.
  • Into the unknown. It may be a song from a popular Disney film, but it’s also the truth. Then you travel, you take a step into the unknown and it’s one of the key ideas behind travelling. You have to know what’s out there beyond the edges of your own country and see new things and the way other people live. You’ll be able to learn and grow as a person and you can come and face that reality of the unknown head on.
  • You will become a whole new person. Being able to travel, specifically on your own, is a whole new way of living. You’ll be able to find yourself in different environments and thriving. You can head into different cultures and learn new traditions and become a whole new person as a result. You’ll be able to pick up new languages and pick up new tastes that you didn’t know you had all because you expose yourself to a new way of living.
