Regent Seven Seas Grandeur: A New Era of Ultra-Luxury Cruising

Luxury, redefined – at sea. The Regent Seven Seas Grandeur is not just a cruise ship. It’s a floating sanctuary, a design marvel, and a lifestyle experience that sets new standards for the world’s most discerning travellers. Debuting in November 2023 as the sixth ship in the Regent Seven Seas fleet, Grandeur is curated sophistication.

Regent Seven Seas Grandeur: A New Era of Ultra-Luxury Cruising

From the moment you board, you’re immersed in a world where every detail whispers opulence. At 55,500 gross tonnage with only 746 guests and 548 crew, Grandeur offers one of the highest space and staff-to-guest ratios in the industry – meaning intuitive service, seamless privacy, and freedom to simply breathe. This is travel for those who appreciate true room to roam.

Regent Grandeur is a floating gallery, boasting a 1,600-piece curated art collection that includes works by Picasso, a 40-foot handwoven tapestry known as The Enchanted Tree, and Journey in Jewels – the first Fabergé Egg ever to reside permanently at sea. Even the ship’s restaurants feel like installations: in Pacific Rim, a breathtaking bronze-and-glass bonsai cherry tree welcomes you into an Asian-fusion dreamscape.

With 15 accommodation categories – from 307-square-foot suites to the palatial 4,443-square-foot Regent Suite (a cool $11,000 per night) – the ship delivers true residential elegance. Natural light floods every suite. Layouts are immaculate. Think polished stone, rich wood, bespoke textiles, and clever touches that show this wasn’t just designed for beauty, but for life lived well.

Grandeur’s eight onboard dining experiences are led by culinary masters and designed to indulge. With over 130 new dishes crafted just for this ship, even seasoned cruisers will find their palates surprised. Whether you’re tucking into truffled specialties at Chartreuse, prime cuts at Prime 7, or exquisite tasting menus at Compass Rose, every meal is an event. The reimagined interiors of each restaurant make dining an art.

Head to the Culinary Arts Kitchen where hands-on classes await under the guidance of world-class chefs.

Wine pairing, spice mastery, regional specialties – you name it, they teach it. At the Serene Spa & Wellness™, you’ll find rituals that rejuvenate rather than just pamper. We’re talking quartz crystal beds, amber therapy, and even a zero-gravity massage table. Guests of the Regent Suite also enjoy exclusive treatments like the Tahitian Hydration Ritual. It’s indulgence, yes – but with purpose.

Four original productions debut aboard Grandeur – Pasión, Ignite the Night, Marauder’s Ball and ICONS – each designed to inspire and captivate. Expect breathtaking choreography, stagecraft worthy of the West End, and world-class performers in a theatre that rivals the best on land.

As someone who’s never cruised, I was lucky enough to step aboard for an exclusive preview –and I was enchanted. The first impression? This isn’t a ship. It’s a luxury hotel with water views that move.

From the serene elegance of Coffee Connection, where fine espresso meets fresh fruit and spirits, to the gorgeous Observation Lounge, a glamorous space to sip and sail away, every corner is designed to elevate. The staff are warm, engaging and everywhere – but never in the way.

I’ll admit I got lost more than once (the café to the ladies’ room was a voyage in itself!), but it was the most enjoyable kind of lost – like wandering the corridors of an art-filled chateau on the Amalfi coast.

The activities on board are genuinely expansive. Wellness, enrichment, fitness, cooking, live entertainment, boutique shopping… you’ll run out of days before you run out of experiences.

Regent Seven Seas Grandeur is, quite simply, a triumph. From its couture-level interiors to its curated experiences and bespoke service, it is the cruise for those who typically don’t “do cruises.”

If you’re seeking a new standard in travel – one where every corner feels considered, and every day offers  something extraordinary – this is your next grand escape.
