Academic success is always at the forefront at Forest Prep. They deliver this high standard of education which stretches, challenges, and inspires every child in a school that oozes happiness through its family-led approach.
Their commitment to high standards is reflected in their outstanding Juniper results, where pupils excelled in Reading, Writing, and Maths, achieving attainment significantly above both the national benchmark and the local authority, Trafford. This success continued into Year 6, where 75% of pupils who sat selective grammar school entrance examinations passed at least one. This is clear evidence of achievement. This strength was recognised in their most recent ISI inspection, in which Forest was awarded ‘all standards met’. Inspectors noted that, “many go on to achieve scholarships or places in selective senior schools.”
In addition to their academic success, Forest prides itself on its unique nurturing environment. There is a tangible warmth to Forest Prep, the children live by #theforestway, showing kindness, respect, and working together as a team. The school’s homely atmosphere is enhanced by the beautiful school grounds which are home to their much-loved animals, including Ronnie and Maggie, the school dogs, Rosie and Ruby (goats), and tortoises George and Mildred, all of whom help teach responsibility and care.
With a 1:12 ratio, each child is known and supported as an individual, ensuring they flourish both academically and personally.
From September, places are available in both their Prep School and Kindergarten (3 – 4 years). Please contact our Registrar, Mrs Daniels, (enquiries@forestschool.co.uk or 0161 980 4075) to arrange a personalised tour.
