Hello!
How is it the end of the year already? Life certainly has a way of passing by so quickly. This year, for us, has been one of growth and structure but most of all, I’m always conscious to keep an upbeat and positive vibe at the Cheshire Property Staging studio. I think it’s so important for our clients to feel happiness and joy when it comes to renovating their home; stress and worry doesn’t serve anyone well, especially when it’s over a paint colour or flooring. I truly hope you too can also reflect over this past year and focus on the moments that made you smile.
Let’s talk Christmas decorations!
In previous years, we’ve installed decorations for our clients and even set dinner tables! My advice to you, if you’re thinking of enhancing your decs this year, is to first choose a metallic base colour, i.e., gold or silver, then a colour that you love to go with it, for example, I’m very traditional and go with gold, champagnes and red. With silver though, soft greens and icy blues go beautiful too. If budget allows, then pop down to TK Maxx or your local garden centre, where they have a wealth of beautiful Christmas items, which you could swap out for items you already have that are dated or tired. There’s no rule of less is more with decorations, it’s once a year, just have fun!
What have we been up to?
Let’s start with our interior design event. We put the event on for people who are in the middle of home renovations, lovers of interior design, and people wanting career advice. We are pleased to say that it was a huge success and provided massive value for so many of you. We had some incredible artists, tradesman, luxury homeware suppliers and flowers all in one room. But don’t worry if you missed it, the next one is already being planned. Keep your eyes peeled!
Renovation to rent
Our large home renovation for the rental market in Hale Barns is now let out to a Manchester United player and his family. They fell in love with it at first sight and reports are that not a single item we styled in the home has been moved yet! Such a huge compliment! If you have a property that you want maximum rental or sale on, don’t hesitate to get in touch. The investment in enhancing your property really is worth it.
Best artificial Christmas tree
For years, I always got a real tree and don’t get me wrong, I still adore them. Then one Christmas, I left it too late and in B&Q one evening, the most beautiful artificial tree I had ever seen was stood there in front of me. Since that moment, my mind was changed about artificial trees and I’m here to give you some guidance on some of the best I’ve found.
