You tend to find a lot of seasoned professionals are very stuck in their own ways, and if that’s not what you want, then you want fresh faces to the industry, but people who want to work hard also.
Budget
You’re also going to have to take the time to look at your budget. Your budget is going to set the tone for your business, so you want to take your time setting it at a realistic place, while also knowing that you can get what you need with what you’ve got. It’s a good idea to write out a list of all of the things that you are going to need to pay for, as well as how much you think they are going to cost. If you’re estimating, we strongly recommend that you overestimate rather than underestimate because it’s better to have some money left over than not enough to cover it in the first place.
Networking
Networking is one of the most important things that you are going to have to do as a business owner. You need to know that you have connections in all areas of the business world, so that when you need something you either know someone, or you know someone who knows someone. For example, when the time comes that you need to hire event videographers and you need the best in the business, the more people you know, the higher the likelihood that this can happen is. We know that for some people this is super tough, but you’ve got to get used to mingling and forming strong working relationships.
