There is nothing ‘plane’ about the airport hotel’s vibrant new open lobby, with a sparkling new bar and a wide range of colourful seating options. This multi-faceted area allows visitors space to work, socialise or relax comfortably with thoughtful design touches, where Starbucks coffee is served, and the all-day lounge bar is open from 10am. The reception area has been redesigned for ease and speed, and guests can arrive for dinner in the open lobby from 5.30pm and enjoy a modern British and international cuisine, featuring a wide range of choices from super healthy to more indulgent treats for weary travellers.

For guests checking in ahead of an early morning flight, 24-hour room service is available, plus wake-up calls on request, and breakfast starts from 5:30am in the fresh open lobby. The new and improved bedrooms feature high-quality Egyptian cotton sheets, large flatscreen TVs, high-speed wi-fi, bathtubs and double-glazed windows for noise reduction. Every spacious room has a modern and calming colour palate for a peaceful night’s sleep and those who upgrade to a club room can enjoy added comforts such as deluxe toiletries, a king-sized bed and ample working space.

The Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport Hotel is ideally located next to all three terminals, and Terminal 2, where the airport train station is located, is just a 10-minute walk away. Trains to Manchester city centre take just 20 minutes and the M56 motorway is close by. The hotel offers a convenient airport shuttle service as well as competitive ’park, stay and fly’ packages.

Additional facilities at the hotel include a 24-hour fitness centre and eight versatile meeting rooms with a dedicated on-site coordinator. Guests can host meetings or events for two to 70 people and enjoy the use of the business centre. The Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport Hotel is also part of IHG Green Engage which means it’s eco-certified. This property has made huge commitments towards sustainability and participates in the Green Tourism Programme; it has currently achieved Bronze status. The programme measures the property’s impact on one or more of the following: environment, community, cultural-heritage and the local economy.

There’s even more to come soon, with a new club lounge extension, improved guest facilities and a stand-alone restaurant. Travel and business guests will find everything they need in between their wider journeys and adventures, whether that’s to plug in and catch up, or completely relax and switch off.

The new facilities will also be a welcome addition for business locals and networking groups alike.

So, if you’re jetting off on an early morning flight, book in, get a peaceful night’s sleep and turn up refreshed for your flight ahead. You won’t be disappointed.
