AN EVENING WITH BENTLEY BLACK EDITION AT AETHER LOUNGE
Luxury met craftsmanship in sublime fashion as Bentley Manchester hosted an exclusive evening at Aether, the ultra-private lounge nestled within Manchester Airport. The evening brought together an exclusive list of valued guests for an intimate dinner and private viewing of Bentley’s latest automotive masterpieces, all in partnership with Glossy Magazine.

A Setting Like No Other
Aether, known for its discreet opulence and impeccable service, was transformed into a sanctuary of British automotive excellence. The venue’s sleek interiors and panoramic views of the runway served as the perfect backdrop for Bentley’s stately models, displayed under soft ambient lighting that highlighted their iconic curves and exquisite detailing.
From the commanding presence of the Bentley GT Black Editon and prowess of the Bentley Flying Spur Black Edition, each model reflected Bentley’s uncompromising vision of luxury and performance. Guests had the rare opportunity to step inside the cabins, examine the finest materials, and discuss bespoke options withBentley’s team of specialists on-site.

A Culinary Collaboration with Adam Reid
No Bentley affair would be complete without a culinary experience to match. The evening’s dinner was curated by Adam Reid, the acclaimed chef behind Manchester’s award-winning The French. Renowned for his modern interpretation of British classics, Reid designed a multi-course menu that paid homage to regional ingredients while embodying refined sophistication. Dishes were presented with theatrical flair and paired with an expertly selected wine flight. Highlights included Reid’s signature ‘Golden Empire Apple’ — a dessert both visually stunning and layered with complex flavour, earning murmurs of delight from every table.

Words from the Guests
The evening left a lasting impression on all who attended.
Hari Pabla, of Pabla and Pabla Solicitors, shared: “A tremendous evening with my favourite cars!”
Michael Bowdon, a retired accountant, added: “A fantastic evening with great facilities for future travel.”
These heartfelt comments highlighted not only the appreciation for Bentley’s craftsmanship but also the exceptional hospitality and setting that made the night unforgettable.

An Intimate Affair
True to Aether’s ethos, the evening was intentionally intimate, with a guest list that included high-net-worth individuals, collectors, and automotive connoisseurs. Between courses, guests mingled with Bentley executives and fellow enthusiasts, exchanging stories of craftsmanship, performance, and bespoke ownership.
The evening showcased an exclusive lineup of three Black Edition models, reaffirming the recent launch of the brand-new Black Edition specification. Guests enjoyed an exclusive preview of all three models presented together.

Bentley’s new Black Edition models combine the dark, daring and assertive visual impact of the Blackline specification with a 680 PS powertrain and chassis combination oriented towards high performance. Unique exterior features include new gloss black ‘Winged B’ badges front and rear, Mandarin brake callipers and Black Edition badging, combining to reveal the darker side of the Continental GT and Flying Spur families. Production at Bentley’s Dream Factory will be limited to 400 examples total, worldwide.
For those who attended, the evening was more than a dinner — it was a multi-sensory journey through the world of Bentley, curated with precision, style, and the quiet confidence that defines British excellence.
