If you feel as though your body doesn’t feel as good as it could, or if you feel as though you need to make some changes but you don’t know how to go about doing that, then this is the guide for you.
Write a List
The first thing you need to try to do is write a list of all the things that you know your body can do. Think of all the things that your body facilitates, whether it’s rock climbing, riding a bike or even going on a walk. Don’t take it for granted, and make sure that you keep that list close so you can use it whenever you’re ready. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses at the end of the day, and there’s nothing wrong with this, but at the end of the day, you need to be focusing on your strengths where possible. It’s too easy to put a focus on the negatives, but if you can be proud of who you are and if you can make sure that you’re viewing yourself in the best possible light then everything else will follow.
Surround Yourself with Great People
Another good thing to do is surround yourself with great people. You need to surround yourself with people who make you feel good, and who are able to pick you up when you’re feeling low. Don’t forget that it’s easier for you to listen to people’s honest feedback than it is to be judged and unsupported. Look at yourself as one person, and also make sure that you don’t focus on specific body parts. If someone is bigger than you, you probably don’t even notice, so make sure that you don’t draw the same comparisons if you can. When going out climbing, wear whatever it is you feel comfortable in, or take the time to make sure that you always look and feel your best, rather than trying to wear clothes that you feel hide your body.
Fix the Foundation
If you can’t feel good about yourself because of your weight and you know that this is going to be a major issue for you, then you need to make sure that you are not trying to do everything possible to hide it. Work on it, and build on it. If you hate your smile, for example, then it may be that you look into Dental tourism, as it’s a good way for you to try and make sure that you’re getting the help you need to start feeling better about yourself. Believe it or not, getting work done is a good way for you to start over and feel better about yourself. You may also find that it’s a good way for you to start building a better you, one that can feel happy and confident.
