The Manchester Grammar School is celebrating another year of outstanding A-level results for its Sixth Form pupils.

Outgoing School Captain Donté, from Gorton, had originally planned to study Physics at university. However, work experience over the summer changed his plans, inspiring him to pursue a degree in Real Estate at the University of Manchester, with the possibility of a future career in sustainable property development.

Throughout his time at The Manchester Grammar School, Donté has embraced every opportunity to contribute to the school community. Alongside his role as School Captain, he served as President of the African and Caribbean Society. He also feels strongly about the importance of recognising every pupil as an individual at MGS – something particularly significant to him as he was the only boy from his primary school ever to attend the School.

The High Master, Dr Martin Boulton, said, “This year’s results places The Manchester Grammar School in a very select number of schools nationally. I am absolutely delighted that the hard work and dedication of the pupils has been rewarded with excellent grades and that this will enable them to move on to study a diverse range of courses at leading universities. I would like to wish them every success as they take their next exciting steps in their academic journeys.”
