Tucked into the energetic heart of the City, Pan Pacific London offers a calm, luxurious retreat just moments from Liverpool Street Station. Outside, the area hums with commuters and glass towers; step inside and the atmosphere instantly softens.
Our Executive Room on the 16th floor delivered one of those memorable views that makes you pause the moment you walk in. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame a sweeping panorama of London’s skyline, placing you almost level with some of the City’s most iconic buildings.
The room itself blends contemporary design with intuitive technology. Curtains and lighting can be controlled from the comfort of the bed, allowing you to shift the mood of the space with the press of a button. In truth, we rarely touched the curtains because at sixteen floors up, the view was simply too good to hide.

The marble bathroom adds another layer of indulgence. Underfloor heating keeps everything wonderfully cosy, while Jo Loves toiletries bring a fresh burst of fragrance to the space. Plush bathrobes and silky slippers make it easy to slip into relaxation mode.
A delicate white peony teapot and cups accompany an extensive tea and coffee selection, while subtle nightlights built into the walls guide you if you wake in the dark. A sleek desk doubles as a dressing table, complete with illuminated mirror and Dyson hairdryer, and a full-length mirror with a nearby plug socket makes getting ready effortless.
Dining is a highlight of any stay here. Straits Kitchen & Bar, located on the second floor, blends Western culinary techniques with vibrant Asian flavours to create dishes that are both refined and comforting. We chose the Experience Menu, which offered the perfect balance. Each plate arrived like a small piece of edible artwork, with bold flavours and elegant presentation.
The restaurant’s interiors mirror the food: bold yet relaxed, softened by natural textures and large windows that fill the room with light. It’s the sort of space that works equally well for an intimate dinner, a stylish night out or a celebratory meal.
Ginger Lily Bar & Lounge provides a sophisticated setting throughout the day. Afternoon tea and light bites make it an ideal daytime stop, while in the evening it transforms into a lively cocktail destination where talented mixologists craft both classic favourites and inventive new creations.
Breakfast the following morning was one of the most impressive buffets we’ve experienced. The selection is extensive and beautifully presented, with a menu also available if you’d like something freshly prepared to order.

Sensory Spa & Wellbeing on the fourth floor offers a serene retreat from the city outside. The space includes an 18.5-metre infinity pool, saunas, steam rooms, a Technogym-equipped fitness space and a menu of indulgent spa treatments. There is even a Bonpoint Beauty experience for children aged five to sixteen, allowing younger guests to gently explore wellness.
The hotel’s location makes it an excellent base for exploring London. Liverpool Street Station is just a two-minute walk away, while Aldgate and Bank stations are within ten minutes. Spitalfields and Leadenhall markets are both nearby, and Shoreditch, Brick Lane, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge can all be reached within a leisurely walk.
What truly elevates Pan Pacific London, however, is the service. The staff are warm, attentive and genuinely eager to help, with concierge team members happy to share tips on exploring the local area.
Pan Pacific London effortlessly combines the buzz of the City with the calm of a luxury retreat – the kind of place that makes you quietly start planning your next special celebration before you’ve even checked out.
