I visited Caffè AB on a Friday afternoon with my mum, and we were both genuinely impressed. Mum opted for the Beer Battered Haddock and Chips (£14.95), served with mushy peas and tartare sauce. The fish was crispy, light, and flavourful – exactly what you hope for – and the chips? Wonderfully golden with that perfect fluffy centre.

I chose the Roast Salmon and Prawn Salad (£13.75), generously topped with a classic Marie Rose sauce and served with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and red onion. Paired with a chilled glass of prosecco, it felt like a little slice of weekend luxury.
The redesigned Caffè AB is award-winning for good reason. Inspired by Italian heritage, the interior blends lush greenery, chandeliers, and gold detailing for a look that’s both elegant and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you could settle in for a long lunch, a quick coffee, or even a working meeting that doesn’t feel like work at all.

The all-day menu is a real highlight – with something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a hearty burger, a seasonal salad, or a sweet pancake stack.
Let’s bust the myth: Arighi Bianchi may have the reputation of a luxury interior destination, but Caffè AB is far more affordable than you’d expect. The experience feels high-end, but the prices are refreshingly down-to-earth – making it perfect for a spontaneous treat or an elegant lunch without the guilt.

Before you leave, brace yourself for a very tempting accessory and gift shop. It’s packed with gorgeous candles, statement mugs, and design-led trinkets that make it almost impossible to walk away empty-handed. You’ve been warned.
