This unique offering takes place in a dedicated wine therapy room within the villa’s extensive spa area, complete with a bath filled with red wine designed to have guests ‘on cloud wine’. Introduced by the villa’s owner, the treatment was brought in as a sustainable addition to the spa, using surplus wine from his own vineyard.

Wine Therapy Treatment

The wine therapy treatment is a unique bathing experience which uses two faucets to combine warm water with locally produced red wine. The antioxidants in the wine are said to offer anti-aging benefits, with ancient Thracian women even referring to the water in wine baths as the “elixir of youth.” Red wine also contains polyphenols, which aid in detoxifying skin and improving circulation. After taking some time to ‘sip back and relax’, guests leave the experience feeling refreshed, relaxed, and revitalised.
