New research ranks Manchester as the second-best party city in the UK, beaten by only Newcastle for its wild nightlife.
The news comes as scientists predict that the UK will be amongst the first countries to emerge from the pandemic, meaning wild nights out are back on the cards again.
Amassing a score of 41.7 out of 50, Manchester landed 2nd just behind Newcastle but ahead of joint 3rd Liverpool & Brighton. The city holds a large selection of clubs and bars for a fun night out as well as concerts for music lovers, it is the leading city in the UK in that amenity, having planned to host over 1600 concerts this year alone.
Manchester has a total of 252 nightlife attractions, 8 strip clubs and 12 casinos as well as 56 tattoo parlours making it one of the best cities to have a wild night out in the UK.
