Forget stag dos – Stallion parties are now the thing for discerning grooms to be, thanks to Manchester-based entrepreneur Zeri Cheetham-Karcz.

Mum-of-two Zeri has had huge success with her Swan Parties venture, which sees her organising upmarket versions of the traditional hen do, since launching her own business two years ago.

So much so that she has now seized a gap in the market to launch Stallion Parties, helping luxury-loving men to have the pre-wedding party of their dreams too.

Former Waterloo Road star Zeri has already organised a host of high profile stallion parties for grooms, ranging from Ibiza pool parties to Miami private yacht experiences. She says it has been the natural next step after the launch of Swan Parties.

“Swan Parties has been a huge success, and has been growing by word-of-mouth and social media, to the point a lot of the women were saying ‘why don’t you branch out to stag parties as well? I started doing the odd one as a favour, but I soon realised there’s a huge gap in the market for this offering. I called them Stallion Parties because a stallion is strong, powerful it stands out in the crowd, it’s the symbol of the alpha male. Men tend to spend a little bit more than women.  While our swans might go for a round of cocktails, the stallions will happily buy in the magnums of champagne for their guests. Size and luxury to them really does matter.” – Zeri

Zeri, from Heaton Moor, organises stallion and swan parties both here in the UK and abroad – and has a wealth of contacts at the world’s best clubs, hotels and venues to be able to give a full VIP experience to the party guests.

Under her umbrella brand Red Russian Lifestyle and Travel, her services now also extend to planning luxury breaks and honeymoons.

Famous clients include Real Housewives of Cheshire star Hanna Miraftab and her fiancé Dr Martin Kinsella, who are both getting the Zeri treatment for their upcoming swan and stallion parties, to Las Vegas and Ibiza respectively.

But Zeri works across a broad range of budgets for all brides and grooms to feel like superstars.

“It is all bespoke, on a client-by-client basis, and I’ve worked with a range of budgets.  We work with low cost airlines like Ryanair and Easyjet, but we can also do private jets and luxury yachts.  It’s all about affordable luxury, creating something that’s truly memorable whatever your budget.” – Zeri

Zeri first came up with the Swan Parties concept while she was on maternity leave with her youngest son Romeo, now two.

She was planning her own Cannes bridal party at the time, ahead of her marriage to Manchester business entrepreneur Paul Cheetham-Karcz, and couldn’t find any hen party planners to help her, thus spotting the gap in the market.

Running her own business runs alongside Zeri’s first love for acting.  Her first TV role was at the age of just 13 in Children’s Ward, and she has also performed on dramas including Cracker, Waterloo Road, and most recently on Coronation Street.

And her adorable son Romeo has already made his acting debut – playing baby George  Appleton in Coronation Street from the age of just 10 months old from 2017 until late 2018 when his mum, Angie Appleton, left the street after betrayal from her husband Jude.
