A stylish London stay where comfort, wellbeing and an enviable location come together.
There is something effortlessly chic about Marylebone. With its elegant streets, independent boutiques, fabulous restaurants and proximity to London’s best shopping, it feels wonderfully central while retaining a calmer, more refined atmosphere than some of the capital’s busier neighbourhoods.

Perfectly placed between Welbeck Street and Harley Street, The Welbeck Hotel is a charming London retreat with plenty of personality, thoughtful interiors and a fascinating connection to the area’s world-renowned medical district.
Across luxury travel, a new style of stay is emerging, with increasing numbers of travellers planning journeys around wellbeing, preventative care and recovery. Marylebone is a natural setting for this evolution. Long associated with some of London’s most respected medical addresses, it welcomes visitors from around the world seeking specialist consultations, treatments and expertise.
The Welbeck sits within easy walking distance of Onewelbeck, The Harley Street Clinic, The London Clinic and a network of specialist practices. For guests travelling to London for appointments or procedures, this proximity brings reassurance and simplicity, allowing them to concentrate on their care rather than the logistics surrounding it.
That sense of calm, comfort and discreet hospitality is very much part of the hotel’s appeal, although The Welbeck is equally suited to those simply looking for a glamorous London escape.
The location is perfect. Bond Street and Oxford Circus stations are both less than ten-minute’s walk away, while the Elizabeth Line offers a convenient connection across London and directly to Heathrow Airport.
Selfridges is just minutes away, with Oxford Street, Regent Street and the designer boutiques of New Bond Street all within easy reach. Whether you are planning a serious shopping spree or simply fancy a little window shopping, this is exactly where you want to be.
We stayed in a sophisticated and charming Premium Room, designed as a serene retreat from the buzz of the city.
A comfortable queen-sized bed took centre stage, while thoughtful extras included complimentary WiFi, an Illy coffee machine and a mini fridge.

The décor suited the character of the hotel perfectly. We particularly loved the wallpapered panel in the ceiling, an unusual detail that gave the room an instantly more luxurious and individual feel. The bathroom was just as gorgeous, with papered walls, gleaming gold and brass fittings and a luxurious rainfall shower – glamorous without being overdone, blending classic charm with a polished contemporary finish.
For those visiting Marylebone for medical reasons, The Welbeck Medical Stay brings together a collection of considered in-room services designed to support preparation, recovery and general wellbeing.
Through its partnership with John Bell & Croydon, the historic royal warrant-holding pharmacy founded in 1798, guests can access trusted pharmacists, wellness advice and a carefully selected range of health products. Sleep supplements, vitamins, recovery remedies and everyday comfort essentials can be delivered directly to the room, alongside access to medical advice and a 24-hour doctor-on-call service.
The hotel has also partnered with Effect Doctors to offer a selection of in-room IV therapies, including hydration drips, Vitamin C infusions and the Myers’ Cocktail, designed to support replenishment and restore balance following travel or treatment. Every element is handled discreetly, allowing guests to remain in the comfort and privacy of their room.

Dining has been thoughtfully considered too, with health-focused choices created to support hydration, nourishment and gentle restoration.
Breakfast was also a highlight of our stay, Relaxed, stylish and welcoming, it is a lovely place to ease into the morning before heading out into Marylebone.
We opted for the Eat Well menu’s Sweet Potato and Pepper Rosti, served with avocado, a perfectly poached egg, seeds, and Hollandaise on the side. Colourful, fresh and beautifully presented, it was light yet satisfying and full of flavour.
We paired it with a zingy fresh ginger shot, and a soothing lemon and ginger tea. It was a delicious, feel-good start to the day and left us suitably energised for more London exploring – and perhaps a little shopping.
With 164 rooms ranging from comfortable standard accommodation to one-bedroom suites, alongside in-room spa services, a fully equipped gym and The Welbecker Bar and Lounge, the hotel caters equally well to leisure visitors, international travellers and guests requiring a more restorative stay.
We had an amazing time here. From our beautiful Premium Room and delicious breakfast to its unbeatable Marylebone location and thoughtful approach to wellbeing, everything felt relaxed, polished and just a little glamorous.
For travellers who appreciate comfort, individuality and discreet care, The Welbeck is a wonderful London address – and one we would happily return to.
