Drink & Dine
The Belfry offers an impressive selection of restaurants and bars, each a little different from the other. If you’re seeking a casual dining option, Italian restaurant Rocca’s serves up delicious pizza and pasta, or head to Sam’s Club House and enjoy top-quality food and drinks in front of one of their big screens showing all the greatest sporting events. Alternatively, situated in the heart of the hotel, the Brabazon Bar offers afternoon tea, tapas, light bites and cocktails. We enjoyed an evening of classic à la carte dining in the stunning Ryder Grill, which specialises in steaks, chargrills and fish.
Executive Head Chef Robert Bates, who has previously worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants and hotels around the UK and Europe, along with his talented team, create dishes from only the highest quality ingredients, all locally sourced, freshly selected and lovingly prepared – something to truly tantalise everyone’s taste buds. Guests at the grill have spectacular views over the iconic Brabazon golf course, which combined with the refreshing contemporary cuisine, creates a truly memorable dining experience.
The Golf
Famous across the world for its golf, we couldn’t visit The Belfry without trying out the newly launched Toptracer Range, which offers a fun experience for guests with any level of golfing experience, from beginners and non-golfers to frequent players and enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy the brand-new bar area, VIP Toptracer Suite and four individual custom-fitting suites as well as: a 34-bay floodlit driving range; putting green and short game area; junior golf tuition; individual and group golf lessons; packages and course tuition; video analysis; practice facilities; and launch monitor technology. There’s literally nothing more you could want to complete your experience. The Toptracer Range provides players with accurate live-shot data, which can be used for practice purposes or to compete in challenges and games for fun. Games include everything from Go Fish! and Points Game – suitable for children and families – to Approach Shot Challenge, where golfers can hit their best approach shot on nine different virtual golf holes, suitable for golfers and competitors.
