Here’s a snapshot of some of the things we’ve enjoyed this month…
The Chocolate Factory / Days Out / Manchester
Step into a world of sweets with this immersive, chocolatey experience. The Chocolate Factory has arrived in Manchester after its success in Madrid, Barcelona and London. Plenty of surprises await guests in this mouth-watering, multisensory experience, where sight, smell, and taste all bring this candy- themed adventure to life. You’ll walk through Chocolate Town, the Cupcake Room, Cloudland and the Ball Pit (perfect for selfie opportunities), ending your delicious journey inside The Chocolate Factory itself, where you can taste all the tantalising treats you’ve glimpsed during the visit. Think chocolates, lollipops and gummy bears. This is a unique and interactive day out for both kids and adults alike.

Club Concorde / Nightlife / Altrincham
This exclusive event gives attendees the chance to party under the wings of one of the three remaining Concordes in the UK. At Club Concorde, you’ll get up close and personal with one of the world’s most famous planes, all whilst enjoying the first-ever disco house party in a hangar at Manchester Airport. Part one took place back in mid-March and part two will be held on Saturday 9th April, seeing the iconic Crazy P take flight to bring the best slinky disco and deep electronic sounds – music with true heart and soul. Sets by La Discotheque’s Sharples and Surco residents will provide the tunes for the rest of the night. Get ready to get your groove on!

Alex’s Bakery / Food & Drink / Manchester
Alex’s Bakery, Manchester’s experts in delicious bakes and sweet treats, recently announced the launch of a brand-new all-day brunch menu following their bakery expansion. The lip-smacking new menu features popular brunch favourites and is available from 9am every day. Whether you’re a lover of eggs cooked all ways or have more of a sweet tooth, there’s something to satisfy all appetites. We opted for amazing garlic avo-toast complete with paprika hummus, avocado, rocket and juicy cherry tomatoes in balsamic vinegar. But if you’re in the mood for something sweet, the brioche French toast is topped with mixed berry compote, mascarpone and lots of syrup and cream. Plus, Alex’s famous iced cakes, gooey brownies and jaw-dropping occasion cakes are still very much on offer at the Deansgate bakery. What’s not to love?
