McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks is set to be transformed into a vibrant venue for live music and delicious food, as it celebrates the return of the Under the Oak Festival for 2022.
The eye-catching container village opened to the public in April, with the two-tiered space playing host to a rooftop bar, vintage carousel, external seating, summer huts and plenty of selfie spots. Guests can enjoy a drink in the summer sunshine whilst sampling the delights of street food vendors from Greek gyros to a classic burger and fries or fresh wood fired pizzas.
As well as enjoying the tasty food and drink on offer, visitors to Under the Oak will also be treated to a jam-packed schedule of live music taking place throughout the summer. In July and August the Centre will play host to talented musicians from across the North West – and brand new for 2022, up and coming local artists are also in with a chance of securing their very own set at the live music venue, as well as £250 to spend at the Outlet!
This June, Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet is championing talent from the local community and beyond by inviting artists from across the North West to perform as part of the festival. Aspiring acts can enter now by sharing a link to their Soundcloud or social channel on the McArthurGlen Cheshire Oaks’ Facebook page, with the lucky winners added to the schedule of talented local bands and musicians set to bring Cheshire to life this summer.
Under the Oak isn’t the only thing to get excited about at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet this summer, as the Festival’s arrival coincides with a summer extension of the Centre’s opening hours – so from 25th July to 2nd September you can shop ‘til you drop from 9am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
