MAKEUP BRAND KARAMEL LONDON LAUNCHES

We discover more about the makeup brand which has been developed for those with dark skin, and who boasts over 70 products…

Karamel London, the UK’s latest beauty brand, has launched its newly created makeup collection specifically curated for dark skin.

The range was founded in November 2020 by Lady Wesa, who was born in Angola but moved to London where she has lived for the past number of years. She originally found it difficult to find products that suited her skin tone and wanted to develop a range that was inclusive and worked with dark skin. As a result, Karamel London was born and stocks over 70 different products with more in the development pipeline.

Karamel London believes the beauty of a woman lies in her skin and face. Their products develop and enhance each person’s individuality and beauty, hence their mission to build the pride and self-confidence of every woman through the provision of top-quality skincare, makeup, lashes and hair extensions.

Karamel London offers a carefully designed approach to skincare and the art of beauty as we believe in empowering women through our products. They value quality over quantity.

The stunning range comprises of over 70 products from foundations to pressed powers and lip-glosses to eyelashes. Some of our faves are below:

 Products

Luxury Compact Powder – £19

Karamel London’s luxury compact powder is a smooth and lightweight pressed formula which provides a matte flawless finished and helps keep your makeup in place throughout the day. Like Karamel London’s luxury foundation, the compact powder is available in six shades.

Matt Gloss – £18

Karamel London’s ‘Colour Me Bad’ matt lip gloss contains moistening coconut oil and enriching Vitamin E which results in a rich and creamy formula. Available in six luxurious shades, the formula is designed to lock in colour and prevent transfer while providing you with a semi-matte finished look.

“For years I have struggled to find makeup prodcuts that suited my skin tone, most brands usually develop their ranges for light skinned women as there is a bigger market there. This idea to start Karamel London had been a seed inside my head for a long time, and makeup and beauty have always been big passions of mine. As a result of Covid I was made unemployed and used this time to develop and launch what is now Karamel Beauty. I can’t wait for those across the world with dark skin to discover these products and something that finally works for their skin tone.” – Speaking about the launch, Lady Wesa, CEO of Karamel London
