IT MAY be thousands of years since dinosaurs roamed the earth – but now they’re heading for Manchester.
On April 26 and 27 the city’s Debdale Park is hosting Dino Fun World, a two day event with giant inflatables and lots of prehistoric activities to keep the whole family entertained.
Would-be adventurers can explore the park and get up close with these magnificent creatures – with lots of opportunities for selfies along the way.
Young visitors can join Professor Flint’s Dino Adventures which takes place at various intervals throughout the day, where they can join the professor, Dr Stone and young Archie on an unforgettable expedition.
Youngsters will be able to join the team of intrepid explorers who have been brought in after the discovery of dinosaur fossils, eggs and footprints and then go on to make the most incredible finding – actual dinosaurs.
Meet the Babies is a dinosaur puppet show where 12 mini monsters will sing their favourite songs and guests can also watch the amazing Smilie the Dino Hunter who will be performing magic tricks.
In between his epic adventures, Dr Stone will also be walking about with Terry the Triceratops and Reggie the Raptor – who he hopes will be in a good mood.
Along with the dino events and a range of huge inflatables suitable for youngsters of all ages, the event will include favourite fairground rides, face painting and entertainment and food and drink stalls.
Entry is just £3 per person, which gives visitors all day access to the site, although there are additional costs for some of the inflatables.
Bounce tokens can be purchased in advance and are available to buy in packs ranging from six to 24 tokens.
Although it is possible to pay on arrival, anyone interested in advised to pre-book to avoid disappointment at https://tickettiger.co.uk/events/43/
